Q. Where do your events take place, how do I get there, and where do I park?

Most RCR bouts and events are held at our home and practice space, The Hangar at Oaks Amusement Park (7805 SE Oaks Park Way). This is a smaller venue with seating closer to the action and capacity for about 400 spectators, located directly across the parking lot from the Skating Rink at Oaks Park. For detailed directions visit the Oaks Park website. Parking is free and plentiful, but will fill up! You may have to park in another part of the amusement park and walk.

Q. Do you accept credit cards?

Ticket sales and league merchandise accept both cash and credit cards. No bills larger than $20 will be accepted. Food and beverage is cash only, but there is an ATM nearby in the skating rink at Oaks Park! Visiting team merchandise may vary on what tender is accepted.

Q. Are your events family friendly?

Our events are all-ages and great for families! You must be 18+ to sit in trackside seating, but we have plenty of bleacher seating for younger folks. At our Junior Roller Derby events, we offer a discounted Family Pack ticketing: General Admission for two adults, two kids, 4 drink tickets, and popcorn.

Q. Do you offer discounted children’s ticket prices?

We do not offer children’s priced tickets, but children 6 and under are free! Limit 1 free child per paid admission.

Q. Do your events sell out? / The event I want to go to is already sold out, what do I do?

Our events sell out very quickly and almost always sell out in advance. We recommend purchasing your tickets at least 2 weeks before the event. Online ticketing ends 6 hours prior to the event. We always keep at least 30 tickets to sell beginning at the door opening time for every event. We recommend arriving at least 1 hour prior to the DOORS OPENING to have the best chance at getting one of these 30 tickets. Sales are first come, first serve. Must be present at time of purchase for admission.

If ticket sales are sold out, you may also be able to get tickets in-person from a skater. We encourage you to RSVP to our events on Facebook and connect with skaters and other fans who may have tickets available.

Q. What is the difference between General Admission and Reserved Seating?

All of our seating is in bleachers or floor seating trackside. Reserved Seating tickets are slightly more expensive, but guarantee bleacher viewing in a special section of our stands. These seats provide a great view of the game, and your own space in an otherwise packed house. General Admission tickets get you in to all the action–including the free-for-all competition for seats! Bleachers or the hard, cold crash-zone floor, it’s up to you. Our facility provides plenty of space for all our fans, but we can’t guarantee you’ll have a bleacher seat with this ticket. Please note, sitting alongside the track puts you within feet of the action and places you at higher risk of involvement in a skater collision. No one under 18 is permitted to sit on the floor alongside the track. Arrive early enough to make seating arrangements you are comfortable with.

Q. What about accessible seating?

ADA seating is available! Email us at ticketing@rosecityrollers.com to let us know what kind of accommodation you will need.

Q. Can I bring in outside food or drink?

No, outside food and drink is not permitted with the exception of sealed water bottles. We offer a variety of food and beverage (both alcoholic and non) at our events!

Q. I can’t attend, can I get a refund for my ticket?

Ticket sales are nonrefundable. As a nonprofit we rely on our ticket sales to pay the bills, and we have a very limited amount of tickets we can sell to each event! When we sell a ticket it reserves your place at the event and we cannot sell that spot to someone else, even if you do not attend. We do encourage you to resell your ticket at face value to another fan who would love to attend one of our sold out events in your place!

Q. Can I get a Media or Photography pass?

Members of the media, independent producers, and hobbyists should Contact Us (select Photo Releases) prior to attending a Rose City Rollers event. Rose City Rollers bouts are private events and Rose City Rollers reserves the right to restrict and/or deny all forms of recording. Visit our Press page for more information about photography and video access.
