Favorite thing about playing roller derby: Roller Derby has given me so much! It helped me discover my inner jock, that my body was/is capable of so much more I used to give it credit for, and that athleticism comes in a lot of different shapes, sizes and ages. I met some of my best friends through derby. Back home, we built something out of nothing. A lot of us poured literal and figurative sweat, blood and tears to make the projects of Barcelona Roller Derby and Team Spain happen, and thanks to that I got to spend the last 7 years traveling with my teammates all over Europe and the US playing roller derby, including in two World Cups. So I know it’s super sappy, but if roller derby has taught me one thing, it’s that no dream is too big to chase.

Best thing about being on the Wheels of Justice: My teammates! They are such incredible, inspirational athletes. It’s such an honor and a treat to get to spend so much of my time playing and learning with some of the best in the sport.

What do you miss the most about Barcelona? My friends & family, the food (croquetas, jamon, patatas bravas, mmmmh), the beach and the public health care system!
